In many ways, he has made good on that—restoring banned profiles, airing the company’s dirty laundry via the Twitter Files, and implementing Community Notes, which allow users to push back on misinformation without going so far as to remove it.
But Twitter is hardly a bastion of unbridled free speech to this day, and that isn’t as much Elon’s fault as it is the fault of various government entities.

Our mission is very straightforward: To counter the false narratives and nefarious agendas destroying America today.
