UN expert Jeffrey Sachs believes the United States must drastically change its foreign policy lest it wants to sleepwalk into a World War III scenario.
In an interview with Serbian outlet Politika that was published on January 31, 2023, Sachs called attention to how this was the “ninth year of the war, not the first one” of the US sending weapons to Ukraine. He added that the danger keeps growing as the US continues pouring aid into Ukraine. “Right now, we have a war in Ukraine, Israel is bombing Iran, America and China are on the verge of direct confrontation over Taiwan – it is a very dangerous time.
