Kamala Harris, as vice president, was tasked by President Biden with handling the crisis at the southern border many weeks ago.
Article by Bob Unruh from WND.
So far she’s made no attempt even to visit the site of the catastrophe, and that’s become an issue, as reporters have asked her about it.
Her responses are getting increasingly testy. Her latest faceoff was with Univision anchor Ilia Calderon, who bluntly asked her when she was going to the border.
Harris didn’t like it.
Fox News, which has been running daily stories documenting how many days it’s been since she was told to work on the problem – and hasn’t visited it – called the exchange “tense.”
Calderon asked Harris about the border.
“I’ve said I’m going to the border,” Harris said, “And I…”
Press on “when” that would happen, Harris halted.
Then she lectured Calderon: “I’m not finished. I’ve said I’m going to the border. And also if we are going to deal with the problems at the border, we have to deal with the problems that cause people to go to the border, to flee to the border. So my first trip as vice president of the United States was to go – in terms of a foreign trip – to Guatemala, to be on the ground there to address and to be informed of the root causes why are the people of Guatemala leaving.”
Calderon asked if Harris had a date for the border trip, and Harris said, “I will keep you posted.

The exchange immediately was targeted on social media.
Jorge Bonilla, of the Media Research Center, noted, “In fairness, I did not have @VP Kamala Harris hitting @iliacalderon with ‘I’m speaking’ on my bingo card.”
“Oof,” National Review senior writer Dan McLaughlin tweeted.
Previously, to that question, Harris has responded with the unrelated, “And I haven’t been to Europe,” or she’s just laughed.
To NBC’s Lester Holt, she said, “At some point, you know, we are going to the border. We’ve been to the border. So this whole, this whole, this whole thing about the border. We’ve been to the border. We’ve been to the border.”
When Holt pointed out Harris hasn’t been to the border, she said, “And I haven’t been to Europe. I don’t understand the point that you’re making.”

It was on March 24 that Biden confirmed Harris was “the most qualified person” to address the border crisis. That was nearly 80 days ago.
“I gave you a tough job, and you’re smiling, but there’s no one better capable of trying to organize this for us,” Biden said.
“The Vice President thinks the border crisis is a hilarious joke,” Republican leader Kevin McCarthy tweeted along with the video of her “Today” interview.
At Twitchy was the comment, “Sometimes when you ask Vice President Kamala Harris if she’s going to visit the border, she laughs. Sometimes, as with NBC News’s Lester Holt, she comes back with a non sequitur, like, ‘… and I haven’t been to Europe. I don’t understand the point you’re making.'”
With Calderon, “Harris did not take it well.”
The Gateway Pundit pointed out, “Kamala is not used to being asked questions so she’s buckling under pressure.”
New Conservative Network Seeks Crowdfunding Help
They say we have to go big or go home. We’re trying to go big and bring the patriotic truth the the nation, but we need help.
Readers may or may not realize that over the past year, we’ve been bringing more conservative news and opinion outlets under our wing. Don’t take our expansion as a sign of riches; all of the “acquisitions” have been through sweat and promises of greater things to come for all involved. As a result, we’ve been able to bring together several independent media sites under a unified vision of preventing America from succumbing to the progressive, “woke,” Neo-Marxist ideologies that are spreading like wildfire across America.
The slow and steady reopening of America is revealing there was a lot more economic hardship brought about from the Covd-19 lockdowns than most realize. While we continue to hope advertising dollars on the sites go up, it’s simply not enough to do things the right way. We are currently experiencing a gap between revenue and expenses that cannot be overcome by click-ads and MyPillow promos alone (promo code “NOQ” by the way).
To overcome our revenue gap and keep these sites running, our needs fluctuate between $3000-$7000 per month. In other words, we’re in the red and hemorrhaging.
The best way you can help us grow and continue to bring the truth to the people is by donating. We appreciate everything, whether a dollar or $10,000. Anything brings us closer to a point of stability when we can hire writers, editors, and support staff to make the America First message louder. Our Giving Fuel page makes it easy to donate one-time or monthly. Alternatively, you can donate through PayPal as well.
As the world spirals towards radical progressivism, the need for truthful journalism has never been greater. But in these times, we need as many conservative media voices as possible. Please help keep NOQ Report and the other sites in the network going.
Thank you and God Bless,
