Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s D-N.Y., primary challenger Marty Dolan slammed her record as a congresswoman, stating she has been absent in the community.
“AOC is absent on community,” Dolan said on the Thursday edition of the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show. “She’s not around. She’s absent on crime. She’s not around. She’s off doing things that are making her famous.”
Dolan is challenging Ocasio-Cortez in the upcoming Democratic primary, which is set to take place on June 25.
He was recently endorsed by a conservative advocacy group, the Job Creators Network, which has spent roughly $100,000 going after Ocasio-Cortez, including the use of billboards in Manhattan’s Times Square, according to the New York Post .Dolan said that AOC, who is a member of the far left Democratic “squad,” is too radical for most voters.”I think people just had enough of radicalism,” he said. “They’re just completely fed up with it.”
