Snow White The son of the original “ Snow White ” director slammed the upcoming live action remake from Disney, saying it has the potential to “destroy” the film’s legacy.
David Hand, 91, shares the same name as his father, who directed the original 1937 animated classic. His comments come just after lead actress Rachel Zegler called the 1937 animation “extremely dated” and claimed the new version of Snow White is “not going to be saved by the prince.” She further accused Snow White of falling in love with “a guy who literally stalks her.”
Leaked photos from the set also showed the seven dwarfs being changed into “magical creatures” to “avoid reinforcing stereotypes.”
