Following the backlash of Twitter owner Elon Musk ’s decision to ban media critics from the platform for “doxing” him in “real time,” the billionaire posted a poll to gauge user sentiment on the decision.
The results came in, and Musk announced the accounts would be reinstated. Musk polled his 121.6 million followers on whether the journalists should be reinstated and offered the options of “Now, Tomorrow, Seven days from now, [or] longer.” He then redid the poll with only two options “Now [or] In 7 days” after 43 percent said the accounts should be reinstated and 57 collectively said they should remain suspended writing, “Sorry, too many options.
