Former President Donald Trump recently ripped Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell for his perceived inability to fire up Republican voters ahead of the 2022 midterm elections set to take place on November 8, 2022.
Trump described McConnell as a”broken down political hack.”
In a post he published on Truth Social, Trump stated that the Senate Minority Leader should dedicate more time and resources towards getting Republican candidates elected in the Senate. There have been rumors that Republicans could potentially underperform in the Senate, despite historical trends pointing to the party outside of the White House usually picking up seats during the midterms.
