On ” The Joe Rogan Experience ” this week, Rogan told comedian Theo Von , that using Chinese owned social media service Tik Tok likely puts all your personal data into the hands of the Chinese Communist Party .
Rogan read Tik Tok’s terms of service aloud, prompting Von to say, “Just tell me how it ends, man,” to which Rogan replied, “It ends with China having all of your data.” According to the New York Post , recently leaked documents revealed that the Tik Tok’s parent company ByteDance is going to great lengths to publicly downplay their ties to the CCP. The company’s public relations department have circulated papers titled “TikTok Master Messaging” and “TikTok Key Messages” in an effort to unburden American’s of their worries.
