The Washington Examiner, a conservative D.C. media outlet, wrote an editorial Wednesday titled, “Trump proven unfit for power again,” after former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson relayed her version of Jan. 6 to the House select committee investigating the Capitol riot.
Hutchinson’s surprise testimony should “ring the death knell” for Trump’s future in politics, the Examiner article began.
The 25-year-old Hutchinson’s experience working for top-ranking members of Congress “should establish her credibility,” the board said, calling her a “conservative Trumpist true believer and a tremendously credible one at that.”
