A reading unfolds from Drag Queen Story Hour, based in Washington, D.C. / IMAGE: PBS NewsHour via YouTube ( Tony Sifert , Headline USA ) Groomers at Oklahoma State University hosted a “drag queen story hour” for children as young as two during its April “ LGBTQ+ Pride Month” celebrations, according to a report at Campus Reform.
“Join us Saturday, April 9 at the OSU Museum of Art to hear artists Ami Rhetto & Olivia Lycan read books highlighting inclusion & acceptance,” the event’s organizers wrote.
According to a flyer advertising the event, the “stories” were “geared toward ages 2-10, but all are welcome!”
“Universities across America have also been hosting a number of drag shows on campus, including the University of Arkansas which paid $10,000 to host a Zoom drag show and Arizona State University which paid $5,000 to have RuPaul’s Drag Race star Kandy Muse to perform,” Campus Reform reported.Everybody […]
