Leading pro-life groups tell LifeNews.com today that they’re pleased with President Donald Trump’s selection of pro-life Ohio Senator J.D. Vance has his vice-presidential running mate.
Carol Tobias, the president of National Right to Life, called Vance an “excellent choice.”
“National Right to Life believes Senator Vance is an excellent choice for vice president,” she said. “He is committed to promoting the right to life and protecting both women and their preborn children.”
Tobias said Vance opposes the Biden-Harris push for a sweeping federal law allowing unlimited abortion for any reason until birth.
Like President Trump and the majority of Americans, Senator Vance believes tax dollars should not be used to pay for elective abortions at home or abroad and is a co-sponsor of legislation in the Senate, she added. […]
